Family Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8 should receive One UI, states Ice Universe
After Tom's Guide ensure that the Galaxy S8 family of smartphones and the Galaxy Note 8 phablet will not receive the new interface from Samsung, One UI, new information states the opposite regarding the Korean manufacturer's 2017 flagships.
According to Ice Universe, the three handsets (S8, S8 Plus and Note 8) will be updated with the previously known Samsung Experience 10, which will arrive with Android 9 Pie. Check below:
Galaxy S8 series and Galaxy Note8 will also get One UI.
The One UI interface was officialized by the South Korean company last Wednesday (7), during the same event that announced the new foldable screen of the brand - called Infinity Flex Display. It should be cleaner to the user and developed in partnership with Google and its developer community.
So far, the Galaxy S9, S9 Plus and Note 9 are confirmed to have the future version of the interface and have come to expect to receive it: January next year.
