Samsung releases October security package for Galaxy J5 Prime and three more devices

Samsung has begun distributing the October 2018 security suite to its smartphones recently. Today four other handsets have started to access this update, being the Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus , Galaxy J4, Galaxy J7 Duo and Galaxy J5 Prime .
Updates have been released in several countries around the world, users in other places should start receiving this update in the coming weeks in their markets. This being only a matter of time.
The Galaxy A6 Plus received firmware A605FJXU3ARI2 in the United Arab Emirates and Iraq so far, while the Galaxy J4 had access to firmware J400FXXU2ARJ3 in South Africa and Saudi Arabia. In addition, the Galaxy J5 Prime has access to the G570MUBU3CRI3 update only in Trinidad and Tobago for now.

    Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo.
Finally, the Galaxy J7 Duo , received the firmware update J720MUBU3ARI2 here in Brazil and also in Trinidad and Tobago. This update, unfortunately, does not bring many new features as they are only incremental, and meant to just bring in the new security package for the month of October 2018.
This month's security patch has fixes for a few dozen critical vulnerabilities from the Android OS itself, as well as the problem fix models found in the South Korean manufacturer's own modification to the software. About the release, it starts in some countries and begins to land gradually in other places. You should get to your device soon.
