iPhone XS, XS Max and Apple Watch: company explains limitations of devices sold in Brazil

After the end of the first week of pre-sale, Apple has already started the process of delivering the iPhone XR, XS and XS Max to the first consumers. In addition, the date also marks the beginning of sales in physical stores and Brazilian retailers.
Now, to get the main consumer questions out, Apple has explained some important points. The first one is that the handsets sold in Brazilian lands have a traditional nano SIM input and electronic chip support to add a second line.
However, the Cupertino giant says that so far, electronic SIM technology is not yet compatible with operators operating in the domestic market. In this way, as we have already shown, the functionality can only be used when traveling abroad.
Despite being found by lower retailers on official Apple channels, prices charged for the new iPhone XR, XS and XS Max are:
    iPhone XR
    • 64 GB - R $ 5,199
    • 128 GB - R $ 5,499
    • 256 GB - R $ 5,999
    iPhone XS
    • 64 GB - R $ 7,299
    • 128 GB - R $ 8,099
    • 256 - R $ 9.299
    iPhone XS Max
    • 64 GB - R $ 7,999
    • 256 GB - R $ 8,799
    • 512 GB - R $ 9,999
    Apple Watch without electrocardiogram
Another important information revealed by Apple to TecMundo is that the electrocardiogram features is not yet available for Brazilian users. That's because the functionality was not released in the United States where the company works with the FDA - a government agency - to get the necessary certifications.
In this way, the Cupertino giant says that consumers from other countries like Brazil will need to wait a bit longer to use the functionality, which will also have to pass the approval of local regulators. So to avoid problems, Apple even took extra measures so that users can not circumvent the restrictions of access to the resource.
The new Apple Watch is now available for sale with prices starting at $ 3,999 for the 40mm model that features the aluminum body and GPS only. Already the most expensive version of the watch is the 44 mm that costs $ 12,399 and has a stainless steel body, cell connection, and Hermès exclusive bracelet.
