Windows 10: Microsoft cancels October update for user complaints
Microsoft has notified its users of the cancellation of the October 10 Windows Update. The manufacturer removed the update from the air after several complaints from those who had already installed the new edition of the operating system.
The decision comes four days after the 1809 version was steadily released by the Redmond giant. Some of the recent complaints concerned, for example, deleted folders and problems with the taskbar after the update.
The statement from Microsoft - in the image above - states that the pause in the availability of the October Update occurred due to individual complaints from users. This way, it is confirmed that it is not only a general problem presented in the machines that have already done the update.
The company even told those who have manually downloaded not to perform the installation until the problem is solved. After the fixes, the American multinational will release a new update package to all owners of Windows 10 computers.
It is worth remembering that the 1809 version had come with some news, such as the dark theme for the File Explorer, more Fluent Design, "Your Phone" application to integrate PC with Android smartphones, and the addition of SwiftKey to the virtual keyboard.
