Samsung Galaxy S10 must have NPU unit dedicated to artificial intelligence

The Galaxy S10 has already had recent leaks on three rear cameras , screen size and models, now new information refers to the internal components of Samsung's future flagship. Your smartphone should have a neural processing unit (NPU), with a focus on enhancing your artificial intelligence performance.
The information was released by Ice Universe in its official Twitter account. According to him, the Korean manufacturer would have completed the second generation of internal architecture, which will be superimposed on the processor of the Exynos 9820 chip.

The basis of the leakster for completion is the profile of a former Samsung employee on LinkedIn, who claims to have worked at NPU until the month of March this year. The trend is for the component to assume the functions of the current Vision Processing Unit (VPU), but on optimized and multifunctional hardware.
Users in locations where Samsung markets smartphones with Qualcomm chipsets are likely to have a similar feature as well. The manufacturer would be looking to boost its own NPU on the future Snapdragon 8150 chipset .

It is important to note that the Galaxy S10 still has no set date for its release, but it is expected to be announced at the 2019 Mobile World Congress in February 2019.
