Twitter will remove Moments from app for Android and iOS; feature will be desktop-only
Twitter has announced in its official account that it will remove the Moments feature from its platform in Android and iOS apps. After October 23, functionality will be unique to the desktop version of the microblog.
In his post, the social network explained that when a tool is not used frequently, it is removed so that the focus is on creating other products that please users. Check below:
However, people who want to have access to Moments on their smartphone can check through the access in the desktop version, the browser of the device. The function has been present in mobile operating systems since the year 2016.
The feature allows the user to receive selected stories in order to stay informed about what is happening around the world. The media content and sequence of tweets are gathered on a particular topic.
It is worth remembering that the microblogging application has recently gained data saving mode , to look similar to its Lite version.
