Tim Cook Announces Programming Lessons in European Apple Stores

What to allow the youngest to take their first steps in the world of programming.

We know: Education is an important point at Apple, especially under the chairmanship of Tim Cook. The man wants the youngest to learn programming and, if possible, at the Cupertino company. It is with this in mind that the youngest will be able to experiment with coding, accompanied by professors, according to Apple himself who published an announcement - accessible in French at this address. In all 2000 programming courses will be offered free of charge. Apple knows that betting on young minds that could find in programming an interest will be beneficial in several years ...

Tim Cook is pleased with this initiative

It's every day, until October 21st, that the youngest (even if the sessions are open to all, whatever the age) will be able to go experimenting programming in the Apple Store as part of the European week of the code. Numerous workshops will be organized, including the Sphero Maze Challenge, application creation and the first steps in the code world. These sessions will be followed by classes (known to be successful with thousands of participants) taking place all year long in the Apple Store - called Today at Apple.
Programming is an essential skill that gives people of all ages the opportunity to create and share their ideas with the world [...] For a long time, Apple has thought that programming is the language of the future. We have created a range of tools to make learning fun and accessible to all. We are excited to be able to host thousands of sessions at the European Apple Store for Code Week, and look forward to sharing our passion for programming with students and teachers around the world.
