THE NANOSD MEMORY CARD FOR HUAWEI MATE 20 (PRO) WILL BE A FAIRLY REVOLUTIONARY ROUTE

Tabletowo.pl nanoSD memory card for Huawei Mate 20 (Pro) will be a fairly expensive revolution Accessories for Android Huawei Rumors / Leaks Smartphones
Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro will be presented already on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. Together with them will also debut, among others new standard of memory card, nanoSD. According to the latest reports, it will be a rather expensive revolution.
Taking away the possibility of expanding the internal memory in the device is not a nice thing. Fact, not everyone uses it (for example, it is quite enough ~ 50 GB, which I have at my disposal in Mate 9 ), but it is better to have it than not. Its lack is particularly acute for producers who have given up this option quite unexpectedly - just like Huawei did in the case of the flagship P20 series .
Extending the internal memory is also impossible in Mate 9 Pro  and  Mate 10 Pro  and it is so much "fun" that the basic versions of both models, i.e. Mate 9 and Mate 10, offer this possibility Personally, I do not know, but I can assume that Huawei heard users complain about the lack of a memory card slot and decided to bring it back to Mate 20 (Pro) . The producer will do it, however, in his own way.
It has been known for a long time that smartphones are to support the memory card in a completely new nanoSD standard. However, I do not know if this is Huawei's original idea, or if the brand will simply be the first to apply and popularize this solution. Regardless of which version is true, it may be a fairly expensive revolution.
As well-known to Roland Quandt, the nanoSD memory card for the  Mate 20 Pro  is supposed to be the size of a nano SIM card and cost 49.99 euros for the 128 GB version. After a direct conversion, it gives the equivalent of ~ 215 PLN. The carrier is to use the eMMC 4.5 protocol and has a data readout of up to 90 MB / s.
So. That "Nano Memory Card" or "Nano SD" card for the Mate 20 Pro, that fits the Nano SIM slot, will cost you 49,99 Euro for the 128GB version. Uses eMMC 4.5 protocol for read speeds of up to 90 MB/s.
For comparison, "standard" microSD cards with similar capacity and data read speeds up to 100 MB / s cost between PLN 130-150, so noticeably less - between PLN 65 and even PLN 85. In addition, we are still talking about the price in euros - knowing life, in Poland the price of the medium will be slightly higher, which will also increase the difference.

Interestingly, Roland Quandt mentions only his Mate 20 Pro on his tweet  , which may mean that only this smartphone will support nanoSD cards, while the basic  Mate 20  will remain with microSD cards. Honestly, I would personally like it even though it does not change the fact that buying a model with a "Pro" note in the name and a dedicated external media to it can really be an expensive "party".
