THE LG V40 THINQ IS NOT YET ON SALE, AND HAS ALREADY RECEIVED A SECOND CAMERA UPDATE
LG V40 ThinQ has three main cameras, which at least in principle should help a lot in taking photos. The first reviews, however, were not very kind to this model. Although on many levels, the LG flagship seemed to be a great device, the quality of the obtained photos was slightly off the top of the best photographic smartphones. The Koreans took to work and tried to fix the situation.
According to reports, which we are unable to confirm ourselves, because the LG V40 ThinQ has not yet officially arrived in Poland, the manufacturer has already provided the second camera update for this smartphone.
The package with patches has a valid weight of 391 MB. They focus primarily on improving the performance of HDR mode. They also provide better sharpness and color reproduction when shooting outdoor shots and repair the "black phenomenon of video recording". Whatever it means, because LG does not explain exactly what's going on.
However, this is not all. The Triple Shot mode has also improved , in which the reviewers noticed problems with choosing automatic focus. It is good that LG was not indifferent to the opinions of people who paid attention to this drawback.
This update appeared a few days after LG V40 ThinQ received the first set of patches for the camera. These focused on image quality in poor lighting conditions and improved Artificial Intelligence mode . In addition, they improved the speed of the image sharpening process and made the camera better white balance when there was really a lot of light in the frame.
All this is really commendable. You can see that LG is interested in the V40 ThinQ being one of the best smartphones for mobile creators. We hope that the Koreans will also try to quickly equip their phone with Android 9.0 Pie, as it was presented as a device operating on last year's Android 8.0 Oreo.
I wonder if all these improvements will improve the reception of the LG V40 ThinQ as a smartphone for photos.
