Microsoft unveils October 10 update for Insiders

Exactly one week ago, Microsoft announced the release of Windows 10 build 1809 , also called the "October update". However, a few days later, this update had to be taken off the air due to user complaints about the disappearance of files and problems related to the taskbar.
According to the director of program management of Windows Service and Delivery, John Cable, we investigated all the data loss reports, identified and fixed all known problems in the update, performing a new internal validation. Already according to the company itself, the failure that deleted files reached a small portion of users (something around 0.00001%).
Initially, the update is being released to registered users of the Windows Insider program so that more information is collected and then released to ordinary users of the system.
Interestingly, the community had reported that the version in question had problems even before the release to the end consumer, something that Microsoft initially ignored but that served to make some changes in the Windows feedback tool, participants can identify the problem by gravity.

"We added the ability for users to also provide an indication of impact and severity when populating User-initiated Feedback. We hope this allows us to better monitor the most shocking problems, even when the feedback volume is low. "- John Cable
There is still no release forecast for the consumer of the new version, with the fixes implemented but according to John Cable, the idea is to do so only when there are no more impacts to users.
