ASUS QUIETLY INTRODUCED A NEW BUDGETED CHROMEBOOK TO THE MARKET

The market for cheap, mobile laptops, created only and exclusively for browsing the Internet is an unfilled niche? Well, judging by the popularity (at least in Poland) of laptops based on the system of Chrome OS, users of such devices are not looking for anything. I have advised dozens of people on the purchase of a laptop "to browse the internet" and none of them have ever heard about Chromebooks. Without delving into the subject, whether it's a matter of poor marketing and promotion of this type of device, or simply directed to a very narrow target group, today it was noted that Asus quietly introduced a new budget model of the Chrome OS laptop.

There are two varieties of Asus Chromebook C423. One with Intel Celeron N3350 processor and a 14-inch (non-touch) screen with a resolution of 1366 × 768 pixels. The second version is much more interesting - equipped with a Pentium N4200 processor and a touch screen with Full HD resolution. Therefore, I advise against buying the first one - the comfort of use will be much lower.

The laptop is designed to allow you to work for 10 hours, so it is a result very similar to the Macbook Air - which I think is an old, but still the best equipment that gives great opportunities with long battery life. What deserves great praise? Asus did not cast his product from the ports. There are quite a lot of them - the user has at their disposal:

• 2 USB 3.0 ports
• miniJack 3.5 mm
• Memory Card Reader

In the Asus, the C423 Chromebook did not lack the camera for video calls or the possibility of tilting the screen by 180 degrees. You can choose from 4 GB or 8 GB RAM.

The entire laptop weighs about 1.3 kg, with dimensions 322.6x228x16.1 mm. You can download apps from the Google Play store to your device.

The Asus Chromebook C423 makes a really good impression. This is not - at least at first glance - a cheap computer from the supermarket, but will this laptop be cheap at all? I am not able to convey this to you because I could not find the price of this device, official or probable.
