Goodbye, notch! Apple registers patent with hole slot for iPhone screen

As we all know, most smartphone manufacturers are looking to find a way to get away from the controversial and controversial notch. That's why Samsung, LG, and Huawei have already registered their patents by adopting a "hole" on the screen to accommodate the front camera.
However, the idea is to create a mechanism to hide the photographic sensor below the display as already detailed by Samsung itself. Even so, while the solution does not arrive, Apple has entered the wave of competitors and also registered a patent in which the company describes a mechanism to end the notch of the iPhone.
The record is in the United States Department of Patents, and documentation was submitted last week. According to the description provided by Apple itself, the screen of this device would have a small hole in the top corner to accommodate the front camera. Check out:
One of the highlights is that this hole can be covered by a strong transparent glass that is supplied by Corning itself (DVTS). The patent also provides all the details for the deployment of the new smartphone in the future of the Cupertino giant.
Thus, it seems that the company may be preparing this mechanism to be implemented on the iPhones 2019. However, as we know, Apple does not usually comment on rumors and speculation in the market. Because of this, it is not yet possible to get a sense of the company's real plans.
Even so, we now know that Apple is another giant in the world of smartphones that are also looking for a way to get rid of the notch. However, a curiosity of the company's patent is that at no time is it quoted where the sensors that are currently present in the notch would be allocated.
