Very thin edges! OPPO R19 leaks showing possible OnePlus 7 design
We know that OnePlus' "premium" company OPPO usually inspires the firm of Carl Pei and Pete Lau - soon to present the OnePlus 6T - in terms of design.
And a recent spill in the Chinese social network Weibo has revealed the OPPO R19 , which is likely to influence the OnePlus 7 manufacturer's upcoming top-of-the-line look for 2019, OnePlus 7 .
The R19, reminiscent of the R17 Pro in terms of design, features metal and glass trim, rear-mounted dual-cam rear, right-side power button, and volume controls on the left.
The model was released on Twitter by the well-known leaker Ice Universe:
Interestingly, the R19 does not bring a notch on the screen - the front camera is simply there, positioned in the middle of the screen, something that we have not seen on any laptop until then.
Although not sure that the next big release of OPPO will in fact inspire the design of the OnePlus 7, several previous models did so with numerous models released by the Chinese manufacturer.
For example, the OPPO R11 - which has already won Hands-On from Mobile Whole - is basically equal to OnePlus 5T , and R15 to OnePlus 6 - that is, there are great chances that this design will be adopted by OnePlus next year.
Although not having an official release date yet, the OPPO R19 is expected for the first quarter of 2019 (by mid-March).
OnePlus 7 is expected to be announced in April or May, taking into account the schedule of brand launches in recent years. OnePlus is currently preparing to officialize the 6T, with announcement scheduled for October 30 .
The model will be the first one made by the Chinese to bring a fingerprint reader to the screen, a feature that will probably be present in its successor when it is released next year.
