The Samsung Galaxy J6 + is available. Where to buy it at the best price?

Presented mid-September with the Galaxy J4 +, the Galaxy J6 + is a cheap mid-range smartphone. The phone has just arrived in French shops where its price generally found does not exceed 230 euros.

Less than a month ago , Samsung introduced two new terminals for the Galaxy J range, which is however destined to disappear in the medium term to be incorporated into the Galaxy A range. Both terminals are the Galaxy J4 + and the Galaxy J6 +, two mobiles relatively close to each other with only notable differences in the volume of RAM, internal storage and photographic equipment. The most qualitative of the two, the Galaxy J6 + arrived these days on the stalls of the French shops. He should be the only one, according to our opinion.

Under the 230 euros mark

As a reminder, the Galaxy J6 + is a low cost mid-range smartphone with a 6-inch IPS (not AMOLED) widescreen display with HD + definition, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425, a dual 13 + 5 megapixel photo sensor, a 8 megapixel webcam and a battery of 3300 mAh. The French version of the mobile, the least well equipped internationally, is provided with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage (expandable by microSDXC).

The recommended retail price of this model is set at 229 euros. That's fifty euros cheaper than the Galaxy J6 at launch. Which is obviously not trivial. It is not the least expensive model of the Samsung catalog, since the Galaxy J4 (2018) is offered at around 180 euros.

In open market and at Bouygues Telecom

You will find the Galaxy J6 + relatively easily among the French brands, even if this model does not have a width of choice as wide as if it were a Galaxy A or a Galaxy S. It is present at Baker, Fnac, RueDuCommerce, Webdistrib and Auchan. These distributors are relatively respectful of the recommendations of Samsung, a few tens of centimes (excluding the shipping and promotions, as always).

Among operators, the availability of the Galaxy J6 + is very limited, since the phone is only available at Bouygues Telecom. It is offered from 1 euro with the Sensation 70 GB, 121 euros with the Sensation 5 GB and 50 GB and 150 euros with Sensation 50 MB. Bouygues Telecom does not offer the Galaxy J6 + with its most expensive package, the Sensation 100 Go.

The Galaxy J6 replacement at Orange and SFR

Orange does not offer the Galaxy J6 +, but the Galaxy J6 (not to mention several models from previous years). The latter is available from 1 euro with a mobile plan and 200 euros without a mobile plan. Recall that the difference between the J6 and J6 + is the nature and size of the screen, the type of chipset, the capacity of the battery and the photographic equipment.

At SFR, same thing: alongside several models of 2017, the Galaxy J6 is proposed. It is sold at 1 euro with a Power 50 GB or more package, 111 euros with a Power Package 10 GB and 199 euros with Starter 2H package. Finally, to be really complete, know that the J6 is also available at Bouygues Telecom (with the J6 +). It is slightly cheaper with the 50 GB Sensation package (40 euros instead of 121 euros).
