Learn how Google has changed the security of Android and Gmail after data exposed

After being discovered the flaw that affected sensitive data in Google Plus for three years , the search giant immediately revealed security changes to its applications and the Android operating system.
The changes now require third-party apps to send users individualized request for permission to give some data. The intent is to evidence more which information certain tools want to request access to. Check the before and after in the following image:

In practice, the process consists of user authorization for every action that an application wants to make in GApps, such as Gmail, Drive, and Calendar. This type of measure is valid for Android and iOS systems, as well as for use on computers and web versions.
New users are already starting to rely on the changes as of this month of October. The company's intention is to make all users of its services available early next year.
It is important to note that Google confirmed, on Monday (8), vulnerabilities in its social network Google Plus, which left sensitive data of exposed users. The failure was active between 2015 and 2018.
Personal information includes full name, date of birth, address, e-mail, among others. Despite the gravity of the situation, Google ensures that no developer or hacker has ever exploited the holes in its platform.
