iPad Pro 2018 offers Face ID, USB-C and more
Apple has one of the most important events, Autumn Keynote, on which it has introduced a trio of brand new iPhones. For a long time, however, it was speculated that we should wait for other devices, including new iPads.
However, the apple company has spent all of its time on the Apple Watch Series 4, the iPhone Xs, the iPhone Xs Max, and the iPhone XR. We do not have it any bad, on the other hand, some new jackets would fit the iPad. The question, then, is what now?
According to all the information, we should wait at least one new iPad this month. In addition to the tablets, there will also be new Mac computers and other pieces. Colleagues from the 9to5mac foreign server even managed to get detailed iPad specifications for Pro.
I'll tell you right away that we should expect two sizes. Proof of this is the code for Wi-Fi iPad Pro models, which are iPad8.1, iPad8.2, iPad8.5 and iPad8.6. Among other things, there will also be LTE versions codenamed iPad8,3, iPad8,4, iPad8,7 and iPad8,8. Simply put, two versions should be available - one with 10.5 inches, the other with a 12.9 inch display.
iPad Pro 2018: Display
Apple plans to introduce the iPad Pro with a brand new design that will offer the display almost across the desktop. This means that we have a look similar to the iPhone Xs. In addition, the new iPads do not offer the classic hardware home button. The so-called Home button replaces Face ID technology, or the camera system called TrueDepth. But do not be fooled, the frames around the display will be a little wider, so we will not see the cutout in the display.
Face ID
The iPad Pro 2018 would most likely offer the same Face ID technology as the current iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max and iPhone XR. Another great news is that in this case, Face ID will work in both portrait and landscape orientation.
External displays or Lightning Connector
With the USB-C port, this year's tablet will be able to deliver 4K HDR video to external displays. If this information is really true, a new panel will be added to your tablet settings, which will allow you to control all the external display elements. So the question is, does the Lightning connector completely kill? According to colleagues from the 9to5mac foreign server, they probably do.
Apple Pencil of the second generation
This month, we will also see a brand new version of the smart pencil Apple Pencil. It will be on sale right from the iPad Pro 2018. However, Apple's 2nd Generation Pen should most likely be synchronized just like AirPods or HomePod with the iPhone. But it is currently unclear whether a new generation of apple pencil will support older iPads.
Magnetic connector
The iPad Pro 2018 should also offer a brand new accessory connector. The magnetic connector will be located on the back of the device and will allow you to connect various accessories such as the new version of the Smart Keyboard and other third party accessories.
