Google+ ends, the farewell takes 10 months
Google created Project Strobe, whose main goal was to explore all systems from a perspective of access to personal data from developers. This project found that Google+ contained an error that allowed us to obtain personal information without the user's knowledge. Google corrected this error already in March this year, and it was found that there was no misuse. Unfortunately, Google+ has decided to end up for regular users.
Let's say goodbye to Google+
With Strobe, Google could focus on its social network, and concluded that it would be too costly to maintain and develop this social network. Especially considering that 90% of visits are less than 5 seconds. Although Google did not publish how large the user base is, it is probably not enough to maintain or develop the network.
At this point, we know that the termination will not be immediate. Everything should happen in 10 months, during which time all users will be well informed. They will also be offered the opportunity to download all their data from this network. Further details will be announced in the coming days.
From Google+ on Youtube
Although Google has not specified its next steps, it is quite clear that it focuses more on Youtube. Moreover, this network has common social networking features. You can post posts, post polls, send stories to users, and so on. Although Google has abandoned the fight with G +, it certainly has more lucrative opportunities. After all, Youtube earns Google+ not.
To some extent, Google+ will remain, but only for businesses. Here customers appreciate this network, and Google takes this as another feature they can offer as a paid solution. After all, there are more corporate social networks that are not even for the public.
