Android Pie to Galaxy line: Samsung unveils features that reach branded smartphones
Samsung recently released the report showing the features that come in their Galaxy devices with the update for the Android Pie. Among the novelties, we will see the function of automatically adding a number space when performing the gesture of typing by sliding between the keys on older devices, such as the Galaxy Note 8 . This functionality already exists in flagships S9 and Note 9 .
In June phones Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus r eceberam an update that allowed the arrival of supporting VoLTE and VoWiFi , bringing even more quality for calls and internet connections in the flagship. Aiming to extend the use of this differential, Samsung will bring to all devices that receive the Pie and have dual-SIM.
The major updates come in features linked to the photo portion of the phone, where the gallery will allow easy access to videos recorded by the user and will also fix bugs that caused all the images to appear at the time the app was opened through the camera.
For those who are gamer, Samsung warned that on Android 9 it will be possible to access floating keys during games on the latest smartphones, as well as in Note 8 and S8 , making interactions in chat windows in multiplayer games much easier to be done. It may seem dispensable to those who play more offline or do not communicate with the team in the games, but who plays, for example PUBG with friends, will be a welcome novelty.
Although several brands are already testing Android Pie on their devices, Samsung should only make the update available in January 2019 , something that is not very well accepted by users of the brand, but that has a plausible justification if we take into account the number of models that the brand makes annually and the addendum that each one will or will not receive.
