Store My Brazil claims to be an official representative of Xiaomi

After the Mi Store Brazil is said "authorized reseller" - an issue already addressed in a column Detective TudoCelular -, another virtual store appeared as the official "brand" of the Chinese brand: Mi Brazil.

The indication appears mainly in the retailer's title in the browsers' tabs. She presents herself as "My Official Brazilian."

 

It is worth noting that this space is not intended to defame the image of any individual or the store itself. The purpose of the column is to clarify undue information, which may mislead Internet users.

Information

In its "Fale Conosco" section, the site indicates that the retailer's name is "Mi Brasil", with the address in Alto da Mooca, in São Paulo (SP). However, when consulting the CNPJ indicated, it is noted that the original corporate name is "Digitechsis Comercio de Sistemas LTDA - ME", whose opening was on March 16, 2010, located in Vitoria (ES).

In addition, the "Who We Are" page - which should provide more information about the virtual store - is under maintenance.

The store's CNPJ previously belonged to the site called "iPhone House" - with access currently unavailable. At the time, the company name was "I now Licenciamentos Ltda.".

Social networks

In addition to the company's title in the browser tab, Mi Brasil is also called "official" store of Xiaomi in the country in its social networks. Both on Facebook and Instagram, the online retailer places itself as the Chinese brand itself, as shown in the following images:

Warranty

On their warranty page, the words are the same as the terms in the Mi Store Brazil, but with the names of the stores exchanged for "XIAOMI BRASIL (MI.COM.BR)".

However, it is possible to discover the origin of the standards shown, because two sections show the name of the competitor without changing. See below:

Official Answers

The column Detective Tudo Celular contacted Xiaomi and Mi Brasil, to clarify the positioning of both sides. The Chinese manufacturer returned by stating that it can not comment on the store since there is no information from it in the company. Check out:
