THE FIRST 24-HOUR, MAINTENANCE-FREE SUPERMARKET IN EUROPE WAS OPENED IN ... POZNAŃ
The Bio Family network, offering ecological products to its customers, decided to open its first maintenance-free and 24-hour supermarket in Poland, and more precisely in Poznań.
This means that after the implementation of the Open 24/7 service, you can go shopping every day of the year, even on holidays, and because the store does not provide cashiers or any other people responsible for the store - a ban on trade in Sundays also will not force the store to be closed.
What do shopping in such a modern store look like? After receiving the "Open 24/7" card, you can enter the store and enjoy a quiet shopping experience, without eye-catching service. We will pay for the items in the same way as in the self-service cash registers currently available in other supermarkets. We will be able to make payments with payment cards (Visa and Mastercard), Apple Pay or Google Pay. The store, of course, did not run out of advanced security systems installed by SMprotect.
Observation of the development of such technology in Poland is very pleasant, but I am asking myself why exactly this chain of stores dared to make such a move? In Poland, there are supermarket chains with a much larger budget, and organic food in Poland is, after all, a niche market. Nevertheless, I believe that the security was taken care of in such a way that the smallest attempt of theft will fail, considering that the "Open 24/7" card will most likely be linked to the holder's ID and the cameras will definitely improve the process of identification of the thief .
After the test period, the service will be available in other Bio Family supermarkets throughout Poland.
